Steps for Accepted Transfer Students

Complete the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to begin the financial aid process. Be sure to use the Albertus school code: 001374.

Accepting Your Offer Letter

Albertus participates in passive offer letters; a student is not required to return the offer letter to accept aid. Offer letters should only be returned if a student wants to decline a portion or all of their aid.

View your award information and financial aid status online at Net Partner. First-time users should activate their accounts by clicking "First Time Users" in the log in section and following the instructions. Please note that your student ID must be seven digits long and your date of birth should be entered in the Month/Day/Four digit year format (i.e. 1/1/1990).


Priority Deadlines

  • The priority FAFSA completion date is Friday, March 15, 2024
  • All students who plan to start classes in Fall 2023 must submit all necessary financial aid documents to the Financial Aid Office no later than Wednesday, June 1st.
  • Contact the Financial Aid Office at (203) 773-8508 or at financial_aid@albertus.edu if you have questions or need assistance applying. In-person, phone, and virtual appointments are available!

Secure your seat to become an Albertus Falcon by submitting your enrollment deposit! Enrollment deposits are $400 for students who intend to reside on campus or $350 for students who intend to commute to campus.

Submit the non-refundable enrollment deposit via your Applicant Status Page by May 1, 2024. If you have any questions while submitting your deposit, call the Office of Admissions at 203-773-8501 or contact your Admissions Counselor.

After submitting your enrollment deposit, a deposit packet will be mailed to your home address on file within one week containing important documents.

Attend a Saturday Session

Saturday Sessions are held throughout the year and are open to prospective students who are interested in visiting Albertus Magnus College. They start at 10:30 am with an information session led by an Admissions Counselor followed by a tour of the campus with a knowledgeable Admissions Ambassador.

Accepted Student Day

Fall 2024 admitted students are invited to join us for Accepted Student Day. Students will have the opportunity to meet and interact with Albertus students, faculty, coaches and staff. You'll learn more about academic programs, participate in activities with your future classmates and enjoy lunch. Meet with Financial Aid one-on-one to discover how an Albertus education can be affordable. Take a tour of our sprawling 50-acre campus, see our residential halls, academic buildings, athletic complexes, and our new state-of- the-art Nursing Simulation Lab. When you are ready, secure your spot by paying your enrollment deposit and grab some Albertus merch at the Falcon Campus Store.

New Student-Athlete Information

New student athletes must complete the following forms in addition to the aforementioned health forms listed under the Student Health Forms section:

  1. Student-athletes must hand in a copy of a physical completed no more than 6 months prior to the start of their season:

    • Fall athletes--February
    • Winter athletes--April
    • Spring athletes--July

    PLEASE NOTE: Meningitis vaccinations are mandatory for all Albertus Magnus College students as required by the State of Connecticut.

  3. Sickle Cell - Disclosure Form

    • The NCAA now requires that all newcomers have to complete sickle cell test (newly passed legislation effective 8/1/22).
    • It is recommended that student-athletes reach out to their primary care physician or the hospital they were born at to see if they already have their test completed.
    • Student-athletes need to submit either the test result or the disclosure form completed and signed by their doctor.
  4. Concussion Course | THIS NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED YEARLY | Your completion certificate will need to be uploaded through Sportsware under "forms".

Enroll in Payment Plans

Students interested in enrolling in a payment plan can go to tuitionassistant.com or call Tuition Assistant at 888-863-8840. It is important to note that students starting in the Fall semester must have the semester paid for by July 15, 2024.

Health Insurance Enrollment

Student Health Insurance Information

Albertus offers optional health insurance plans sponsored by Gallagher Student Health. If you have your own health insurance, it is not required that you take on the Gallagher Student Health Insurance Plan. 

To Enroll in the Gallagher Student Health Insurance (if you do not have your own health insurance):

You may enroll by visiting the Gallagher Student Health website and clicking the 'Student Waive/Enroll' link on the left side of the page. Make sure you receive a reference number to ensure your enrollment has been completed.

The health insurance will be effective August 15, 2024 - August 14, 2025 for Fall students. After the insurance is effective, please visit Wellfleet Student Insurance and create an account on Wellfleet. Make sure to include two 00's before your ID number (ex:0044444).

Once you create your Wellfleet account you should be able to view and print your insurance cards.

To Waive Out of the Gallagher Student Health Insurance (if you have your own health insurance):
You may waive out by visiting the Gallagher Student Health website and clicking the 'Student Waive/ Enroll' link on the left side of the page. Create an account and have your insurance card available to be able to enter it and waive out.

*It is the student's responsibility to waive out of the Albertus-provided health insurance by the deadline. Failure to do so will result in being automatically enrolled in the plan and charged the premium. If you have questions in regards to the health insurance, please contact the Bursar's Office at bursar-list@albertus.edu.*

Housing Application/Contract

Housing Application/Contract will be available beginning Monday, May 1, 2024. You must complete and submit your application and contract to ensure that you have a reserved space in on-campus housing. Residential Life will frequently email students who are listed as residents to remind them to complete the Housing Application.  The priority deadline for Housing Applications is Sunday, June 23, 2024.  Applications will be accepted after this date, but there is no guarantee that you will be able to select a specific room or request a specific roommate. 

To Submit your application, log onto our self-service housing portal. Make sure to use your Albertus Magnus College credentials (these are the same that you use to log into my.albertus.edu). If you haven't set up your Albertus email yet, please contact its@albertus.edu.

Room Selection

Beginning Monday, June 24, 2024 at 9:00 AM to Friday, June 28, 2024, first year students will be able to participate in room selection. Students can log on to their self-service housing portal and pick their specific room as long as they have completed their application. Students who do not participate in room selection by 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 28, 2024 will be auto-assigned.

Final Transcript Request

Request your final official transcript(s) from your high school and all colleges and universities attended to be sent to Albertus Magnus College. All final official transcripts with a date of graduation must be submitted to the Office of the Registrar no later than first day of classes.

Specific dates for Falcon Days for 2023 will be announced in the future. New students must attend one Falcon Day.

Once you have submitted your enrollment deposit, your academic advisor will reach out to you via the email you used to apply to Albertus to schedule a 30-minute one-on-one academic advising appointment. Please ensure you are checking your email regularly to set up an appointment.

  • Minute 32:32 - Learn more about the Health Clinic and Counseling Services and how to submit your medical forms through the MedTunnel portal.

Albertus Information Technology Services will send you a message upon receiving your registration for classes. It will contain your myAlbertus username and a temporary password.

Log into myAlbertus, go to "My Account/Web Services" and then click on the link for "My Classes for Term." The class schedule will be listed there for the Undergraduate Fall 2021 term. For issues regarding logging into myAlbertus, please contact ITS Help at its-help@albertus.edu or (203) 773-0205.

Undergraduate Student Orientation

Welcome Class of 2028 and New Transfer Students to the Falcon Family!

Your Orientation Experience

Orientation at Albertus is unique – when you are not in sessions learning about campus offices and resources, you are with your orientation group run by our student Orientation Leaders. We call them OLs, who are dedicated to welcoming you to your new home! You will be matched with an OL and a small group of fellow new students. Our goal is to make sure your orientation experience is memorable, welcoming, informative, and fun!

Orientation Schedule

New Student Orientation is REQUIRED of all incoming students.

All incoming students that have not yet attended an Orientation session will receive an email invitation to register for the upcoming New Student Orientation session in August.

There will also be a Parent & Family Program during New Student Orientation, which is strongly encouraged. Please register any parents/family members to attend if they want to participate when you register yourself.

New Student Orientation for incoming students for the Spring 2025 semester is scheduled for Friday, January 17th.

This orientation is required for all new students.  The session will be happening in person, and will begin at 9 am and conclude at 5:30 pm.  Continental breakfast, snacks and lunch will be provided.

Please check your email for a link to register for this orientation session after you have submitted your enrollment deposit.

Move In

*Resident students will receive email communications about Move in Day. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact reslife@albertus.edu. All students will participate in a one day program of educational workshops and sessions to ensure you are ready to start the new semester!
