Silver Horn Scholarship Fund
The silver horn is a symbol of the breadth of experience and knowledge gained by every Albertus student across the decades.
The value of a college degree is only realized through degree completion. At Albertus Magnus College, just starting college isn’t good enough; excellence through degree completion is our commitment and our shared success. The Silver Horn Scholarship Fund was established in 2018 with the inauguration of the College’s 14th president, Dr. Marc M. Camille. The silver horn is a symbol of the breadth of experience and knowledge gained by every Albertus student across the decades. The Fund promotes students’ degree completion by helping offset the gap between financial aid and tuition and fees when unexpected financial hardship occurs.
"It is one thing to begin your college career, but the true value is only realized through completing your journey and earning your degree completion. That’s what we are about here at Albertus Magnus College. The Silver Horn Scholarship Fund strengthens our commitment to that success and the support of the community is most appreciated as these are our future leaders and our future workforce."

Vice President for Advancement
For 93 years, Albertus Magnus College has been transforming and empowering lives through its Catholic and Dominican values- and liberal-arts based education. Originally educating women only, today’s Albertus Magnus College educates a diverse, coeducational student body. Today’s Albertus students mirror our world, present and future: they are more than half students of color; nearly forty percent first generation; and more than half receive Federal Pell Grants, coming from the lowest socioeconomic backgrounds. Regardless of changed student body characteristics, what hasn’t changed are the foundational Catholic and Dominican pillars that uphold an Albertus Magnus College education: study, prayer, community, and service. And like the first women who graduated with Albertus degrees, those who earn their Albertus degrees today continue to be prepared for lives of meaningful career success and civic engagement. The magnitude of Albertus Magnus College impact and transformation has even more potential for the future. With the creation of The Silver Horn Scholarship Fund, the commitment to the success of each student who enrolls at Albertus will be strengthened, providing essential financial support for enrolled students who face financial hardship, to stay on track to graduate with their degrees in four years. Recipients of The Silver Horn Scholarship Fund will be enrolled Albertus students with demonstrated financial hardship, but also are in good academic standing and contributing positively to the life of their classmates and the College.
