Living the Pillars: Prayer
Worship
Part of what our office does is seek to nourish one’s prayer life and spirituality through religious practices and communities of worship. New Haven is home to many churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples. We are happy to share a list of houses of worship and services at local churches.

Stations of the Cross
Often done during the season of Lent, Stations of the Cross is a 14 part prayer devoted to Jesus’ last day on earth as a living person. This past year for Good Friday, our stations of the cross had specific intentions for the sufferings of our global world.
Contemplation / Meditations
Need some recentering? During the season of Lent, we’ve started to incorporate in-person and virtual meditation opportunities led by Sr. Anne Kilbride. Meditations are offered each month as a way to pray and regather oneself. Ask about upcoming sessions!
