The Office of the Registrar is dedicated to providing services to meet the needs of the Albertus Magnus College community including students, faculty, administrative staff and alumni. 

The office maintains the academic records of all undergraduate and graduate students.

It offers a wide range of services in the areas of academic transcripts, student status, registration, course enrollment, and publications. Other services include graduation certification, transfer credit evaluations and approvals, and the coordination of Veteran’s Education Benefits.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Albertus Magnus College students are afforded certain rights when it comes to educational records. If a student wishes the information to be released to a third party, he/she would file a "Permission to Release Educational Information" form with our office.

Directory Information Opt-Out

“Directory information” is not considered harmful or an invasion of privacy and can be disclosed to third-party organizations without your consent unless you request otherwise. Directory Information is defined as:

  • name, address, telephone number, email address
  • major field of study
  • dates of attendance
  • class level and enrollment status (undergraduate/graduate, full/part-time)
  • degree(s) conferred and dates of conferral

If you do not want the College to release your directory information without your prior consent, you may choose to “opt-out” of this FERPA exception by filling out the form below. Directory information of a student who has opted-out from the release of directory information, in accordance with this policy/procedure for opting out, will remain flagged until the student requests that the flag be removed by completing and submitting the revocation section of this form to the Office of the Registrar.

Services for Current Students

Current students can process a variety of requests through our office, including declarations of majors and minors, adding or withdrawing from courses, taking courses as pass/fail, and more. While registration occurs fully online (including add/drop), forms for other processes can be found in the Registrar tile in the myAlbertus portal.

Services for Alumni

For any third-party degree verification (for employment or otherwise), please use www.degreeverify.org. If you require a verification letter please use THIS FORM, if you do not know your Student ID number just put 000000.

Current Graduates

If you are eligible for graduation, please download the Request for Audit of Credits form. This form can be scanned and emailed to registrar@albertus.edu or faxed to (203) 773-3117.

Diploma Order Form (Past Graduates Only)

If you are alumni, please use the Diploma Order form (Past Graduates Only) to reorder a copy of your diploma (not for current graduates). In order for your diploma to be reordered, you must complete the form below and pay a $25.00 reordering fee (per diploma). Payment can be made by credit card by contacting Julie Kraus in the Business Office at (203) 773-8532 or by mailing a check made payable to Albertus Magnus College to:

Diplomas are mailed to students 6-8 weeks after the degree conferral date. For undergraduate degree recipients, only the degree type (for example, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Arts, etc.) and honors will appear on the diploma. Undergraduate majors, minors, and concentrations are not notated on a diploma. These will appear on the official transcript.

Students who complete a double-major (same degree type for each major) will only receive one diploma. Students who complete a dual-degree (for example, a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science) will receive one diploma for each degree.

Graduate students' complete degree including discipline (for example, Master of Science in Clinical Counseling) and honors will appear on the diploma. Graduate concentrations are not notated on a diploma. These will appear on the official transcript.

All balances must be paid in full in order for a graduate to receive their diploma. Diplomas will be mailed directly to you so please make sure to provide your complete and most current address.

TES Equivalency Database

The database is not a complete list of all the courses that may be accepted for credit at Albertus Magnus College. These course equivalencies are intended to be used as preparation tools for prospective applicants. These tools are not a substitute for an official evaluation of credit and do not constitute a guarantee of transfer credit award. The information posted in the TES database will be continuously updated.

Official Transcript Requests

The Office of the Registrar is pleased to offer an online Transcript Ordering Process to provide alumni and current students with efficient, accurate and speedy service for ordering and receiving transcripts. In partnership with Parchment, Albertus Magnus College joins 8000+ secondary and postsecondary schools that provide online transcript ordering services.

  • $7.00 fee for each eTranscript PDF transcript, which gets sent to the recipient within the same day.
  • $10.00 fee for each Official Transcript, includes 3 to 5-day processing and sent through regular mail.

Orders are generally processed within 3-5 business days. Allow additional processing time for high volume periods and holidays.
