What We Need From You

Here is a checklist of the required documents needed to apply:

  1. Online application using the Albertus Application.
  2. Personal essay on a topic of your choice, 250-500 words.
  3. Secondary/high school transcript, diploma, and test scores, if applicable, with notarized English translation.
  4. If you are completing a secondary/high school outside of the United States, you are required to submit a document-by-document translation and evaluation. Albertus Magnus College will accept evaluations from any foreign transcript evaluator that is a member of National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). World Education Services (WES) Is Albertus Magnus College prefered service.
  5. If you have completed an undergraduate and/or graduate degree at an institution outside of the United States that is not regionally accredited, as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, you are required to submit a course-by-course translation and evaluation. Albertus Magnus College will accept evaluations from any foreign transcript evaluator that is a member of National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). World Education Services (WES) Is Albertus Magnus College prefered service.
  6. English Language Proficiency Scores: TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo.
  7. Copy of passport. If applicant is currently in the US, please also include a copy of visa/admission stamp and I-20 from current institution, if applicable.
  8. Official bank statement from the last six months (Final balance should document the capability of your sponsor to cover the estimated expenses of one academic year.)

USCIS requires proof of access to financial resources to cover academic, living, and personal expenses for first academic year in the United States. Albertus Magnus College does not have a Financial Aid program for international students.

Suggested Application Material & Next Steps

  1. Any additional information the student chooses to include as support for his or her application such as writing samples, personal essay, a portfolio or resume.
  2. Campus visit and conversation with an admission counselor.

Brittany has a wide array of experience in various areas including victim services, non-profit development, ministry, and enrollment management. After graduating with two degrees she worked in undergraduate admissions at her alma mater for over 6 years, most recently serving as the Senior Associate Director of Admissions for the University of New Haven. In her free time she serves in various volunteer roles including serving on a Board of Directors for a local community-based organization.
