Leadership in 5G

What are the 5Gs? They are a set of strategic tools that delve into self-awareness, effective communication, understanding teams, equipping teams for success, and knowing when to step back.

More specifically the 5Gs are:

  • Get Up
  • Get Out There
  • Get to Know Your People
  • Give Them What They Need
  • Get Out of the Way

With a Ph.D. in Organizational behavior, Dr. Fero is known for empowering leaders with practical insights and powerful stories through his books, keynote speeches, workshops, consulting,  executive coaching, and in his role directing the Master of Science of Management and Organizational Leadership (MSMOL) at Albertus Magnus College.  The Albertus MSMOL is a forward-thinking program designed to equip a new generation of diverse and ethical leaders with the practical skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing business landscape. The program emphasizes leadership as a relational process that values inclusion, purpose, and shared vision, while also encouraging students to adopt a service-oriented approach rooted in trust and ethical behavior.

Through this program, students not only gain a master's degree, but also the confidence and drive to become leaders and team members who can inspire and collaborate with others to achieve success. By cultivating a diverse and multi-generational workforce, this program cultivates today's leaders to become stronger, more focused, and more effective for their organizations.

Dr. Fero, The Leadership Doc, has transformed leaders across business, non-profits, government, and law enforcement for more than two decades. He is also the co-author of, Lead Me Out to the Ballgame: Stories and Strategies to Develop Major League Leadership, which offers leadership strategies based on more than 100 interviews with Major League Baseball players and managers.
