Albertus Magnus College Holds 12th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony

Community Invited to Celebrate Cherished Tradition

New Haven, Conn., November 25, 2024 – Albertus Magnus College invites the community to share the Holiday Season’s spirit of goodwill at the 12th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The Student Alumni Association created this event in 2013, dedicating the tree (and rededicating it in 2023) in memory of former staff members Kevin Panagrossi ‘06, ’12 MA and Anne Leeney-Panagrossi. The illuminated tree on Aquinas Hall lawn represents hope and “joying” — and the time spent together is something the Falcon Family holds dear.

Just two years from its historic 100 th Anniversary Year, the College is implementing its Albertus 2025: Lighting the Way to a Second Century strategic plan, which articulates an inspiring, bold vision to "be a destination liberal arts-based college, distinguished in its interdisciplinary and experiential approach to education, rooted in Dominican values, that prepares students for lifelong civic engagement and success."
