Winter Intersession Classes Online at Albertus Magnus College

Welcome to Albertus Magnus College, a small, Catholic, liberal arts college nestled a few miles from bustling downtown New Haven and Yale University.

If you need to take college classes this winter, then we strongly encourage you to think of Albertus. We are offering an array of online undergraduate winter courses to satisfy most students’ general education requirements.

When is Intersession?

Intersession begins Tuesday, January 2, 2024 through Friday, January 19, 2024.

*Classes meet on Monday, January 15, 2024 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday) unless otherwise indicated by your instructor.

Accelerated three-week courses offered in synchronous and asynchronous online formats. Courses that meet fully online (asynchronous) will have coursework requirements on Monday through Friday of each week. Courses that meet synchronously online will meet from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

How to register for an intersession course:

Complete the Visiting Student Application
When completing the application, select “Winter Intersession” under Visiting Student Affiliation
Email registrar@albertus.edu with the course(s) you are interested in registering for
The Office of the Registrar will confirm your application and registration status upon application processing and approval.

Tuition and Fees

All intersession courses are available to visiting students for $1,018.00 per course. Payment is due to the Bursar’s Office by the first day of classes.

The last day to drop a course is Friday, January 5, 2024. Students who drop a course will receive a full refund of tuition paid.

Students who withdraw from a course after Friday, January 5, 2024 will receive a “W” for the course and no refund will be issued. Students must attend class daily. Students who do not attend class by Friday, January 5, 2024 will be administratively withdrawn from the course with no penalty. Students who miss more than 2 consecutive classes after January 5, 2024 will be administratively withdrawn from the course with a “W” and no refund will be issued.
