Tuition for Albertus Master’s in Instructional Design and Learning Technology

The Instructional Design and Learning Technology Master’s degree program at Albertus is a 30-credit program. It’s offered in an accelerated format, and most students complete the degree in 
1.5 years, while taking only 2 classes at a time. 

Classes run every 8 weeks, and students can begin at the start of any class anytime in the year—no need to wait until fall to start.

For the 2022-2023 school year, tuition for the Instructional Design and Learning Technology master’s program is $2,772 per course or $924 per credit.

Financial Aid for MS in Information Design and Learning Technology

The following programs are available for graduate students in the Information Design and Learning Technology graduate program:

Federal Direct Stafford Loan Program

The William D. Ford Federal Direct Stafford Loan Program is awarded to students who have not met their annual loan limit, who have unmet need, and who have not met their Cost of Attendance (COA).

Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Program

The William D. Ford Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan Program (GPLUS) is an unsubsidized loan for graduate students.

Federal Work-Study Program

Students may also qualify to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program, which employs students on-campus. A 2.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average must be maintained to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program. Wages meet federal minimum-wage standards.

The GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade) Scholarship

GOLD Scholarships recognize the commitment to higher education that recent undergraduate alumni of Albertus from the last decade have. The GOLD Scholarship is a scholarship totaling 25% off of tuition towards a Master’s degree at Albertus. 

While the GOLD Scholarship may not be the only form of financial aid for which a student is eligible, recipients may not receive any additional tuition-based discounts. A completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is encouraged and Modular Aid
Application is required for scholarship eligibility.

The GOLD Scholarship is renewable annually, provided that the student is enrolled in consecutive Modules (at 6 credits per Module) or in consecutive Semesters (at 9 credits per semester), while maintaining a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.

Federal College Financing Plans

Albertus Magnus College adheres to the State of Connecticut Public Act No. 13-95 by sending the Federal College Financing Plan to all awarded students in an effort to improve consumer disclosures and ensure that students make wise decisions when investing in higher education. 

Albertus Magnus College also signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Veterans Affairs, which requires all prospective veteran students receive the College Financing Plan. 

The College Financing Plan is a standardized form that is designed to simplify the information distributed to current and prospective students about costs and financial aid, and allows them to compare net institutional costs so as to make informed decisions about where to attend school.

The College Financing Plan discloses and simplifies the Cost of Attendance and details the College’s graduation rates, three-year federal cohort default rate, and median borrowing with estimated repayment as compared to the national average. 

All students are encouraged to apply for Financial Aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Once completed, students should contact the Financial Aid Office to find out if additional documents are required.
