New Haven, Conn., August 5, 2024 – The renowned Master in Science Criminal Justice degree at Albertus Magnus College  continues to innovate by increasing its accessibility — especially for working professionals. Already named the Best Online  Criminal Justice program in the state of Connecticut and fifth in the nation by Forbes Advisor, Albertus is pleased to announce  that this highly popular program, with its unique focus on Corrections, can be earned faster — in order to meet the changing  demands of the industry and the need to continuously upgrade professional skills.  

Effective August 2024, Albertus’ Master of Science in Criminal Justice degree provides two concentrations: Correctional  Administration and Correctional Healthcare Management; its length has been reduced to just 30 credits and is achievable in 12  months. By reducing the number of required credits from 36 to 30 and addressing market changes , the students enrolled in  the program are prepared for leadership positions in the Criminal Justice sector while still receiving the same robust Albertus  academic experience. In addition, there is a 25% discount for correctional professionals and a 6-credit waiver for qualifying  hazardous duty employees — making completion time even faster, in just 10 months.
